Research Analysts in McKinsey work in a highly collaborative and professional team environment to provide distinctive analysis and innovative problem solving, to our consulting teams and other knowledge professionals around the world, in more than 70 locations. They are encouraged to take initiative and supported to grow and develop personally and professionally. The broad and deep range of the knowledge team expertise combined with a wide array of external databases enables knowledge professionals to deliver a variety of high quality end products, from single page exhibits, fact packs, and financial analyses/models, to synthesized literature searches, company information, industry research reports, and document delivery. For students who are successful in the interview process and are offered a research position, we will provide them with the basic skills through our excellent formal learning programs, and then continue to help them develop their skills while continuing to be supported along the way through formal and informal coaching from colleagues and through their work experience.
